green glass asterisms

We are aware of matter fleshed in the trees

fractal symmetry washed & again worn

it is a day

worth leaving

the marrow to console its bones

radiolaria

from the beam

of night’s distant chrysalis

i am cold here

as the froth

crests my tail’s

quickening

what effervescent

sea-foam

can starve lungs

beaten back & back

by night’s unkind musics

a reverie of frolic’s

menagerie, the

uninvited asp

of circling

what dawn lingers its

breast on

mother’s birdcall

chirp chirp

of the feed

We run
